FRIDAY FRAGMENTS & FOUR FILL IN FUN

Feeling Beachie     Half-Past Kissin' Time

It has been a very busy week. I have not been home for lunch since last Sunday. On Monday I met the girls who have retired at a lunch and on Tuesday it was lunch with the other Retired Group. I skipped the plant talk and stayed for the speaker about “Seniors for seniors” which is a group where younger seniors are paid to help older seniors stay in their home. Unfortunately I am not looking for a job at the moment.

Wednesday was exercise day. I played with the grandchildren. We walked to the store to pick up the ingredients to decorate cupcakes. 18 month old T got right into it. He loves the icing but not the jelly beans. It was granddaughter F’s idea that she found in her “Chirp” magazine. They were delicious. We also made tracks in the newly created garden across the street, Of course we had to get a slide or two in as well.

Thursday was lunch with my friend B. We met half way between our 2 homes. We had lunch in the casino. We visited the Stephen Leacock Museum and walked around the grounds. D H took pictures which will show up in Sunday in the City. We stayed overnight so that we could see the show “So You Think You Can Dance”. It was a wonderful show. If it comes in your area it is worth the price of a ticket.

Heading home today and then a busy weekend ahead. Have a great Friday everyone.

This week’s co-host is OBI from ELOQUENT RAMBLES- she came up with all the statements:

The statements:

  1. Tomorrow I am going to the theatre with our best friends.
  2. Does anyone live in Australia if so I would really like to visit.
  3. People sometimes think that retirement means boring.
  4. It is okay to play even if your old.
