Even though we are not taking any big trips until our cruise in the summer we do like to jaunt around our home area. This weekend we are off to a quaint Mennonite community for theatre and visiting with our friends.
We have been taking in the activities in this town for many years. Since it is close to home we can make a day trip. We meet up with our friends for lunch, share a show and then follow-up with a nice dinner.
The town has a farmer’s market, an outlet mall and a cozy main street. We are served by the Mennonite people and share the road with their horse and buggies. It takes us back to a time when life wasn’t so hectic. We can slow down and enjoy.
I will share some pictures on my Sunday in the City blog. So until then have a great day.
